V4 Camera Instructions (First-Time User)

This section covers how to set up your AGL V4 Camera for the first time, including powering on the device, completing the Android setup process, installing the AthletesGoLive app, and signing in. This information is intended for new AGL camera users who are setting up their camera before streaming for the first time.

Charging and Powering On the Camera

1: Charge the Camera

Plug the camera into a power source and allow it to charge before completing setup.

2: Power On the Camera

Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on.

Tap Start to begin setup.

3: Select Your Mobile Data Preference

Choose the appropriate mobile carrier option.

AGL Internal Devices: Verizon or T-Mobile
Customers with Granite: AT&T or T-Mobile

4: Connect to a Network

Connect the camera to a Wi-Fi network or continue setup using the mobile network.

5: Wait for Device Preparation

The device will display:

"Getting your phone ready... This may take a few minutes."

Allow the setup process to finish before continuing.

Completing Device Setup

1: Copy Apps & Data

The device will ask if you'd like to transfer apps, photos, contacts, your Google account, and other data.

Select either:

Don't Copy (recommended for dedicated AGL cameras)
Next to transfer data from another device.

2: Wait While Information is Checked

The device will display Checking Info...

Allow the loading process to complete.

3: Sign In to Your Google Account

You may:

Enter your Google email or phone number to sign in.
Select Skip if you do not want to sign in.

4: Configure Google Services

Review and choose your preferences for the following options:

Location Services — On or Off
Allow Wi-Fi Scanning — On or Off
Phone Number Verification — On or Off
Send Usage & Diagnostic Data — On or Off

Tap Accept to continue.

5: Set Device Security

You can choose to:

Create a 4-digit PIN or select Skip
Set up Fingerprint Unlock or choose No Thanks
Set up Face Unlock or choose No Thanks

6: Accept Terms

Review the Terms of Use and Representations.

Tap Agree to continue.

7: Choose Your Navigation Style

Select your preferred navigation method.

Gestural Navigation
- Swipe up to go Home
- Swipe from the sides to go Back
- Swipe up and hold for Recent Apps
3-Button Navigation
- Home
- Back
- Recent Apps

Tap Next to complete device setup.

Installing the AthletesGoLive App

1: Open the Google Play Store

Once device setup is complete, open the Play Store.

Note: If you skipped Google account sign-in during setup, you'll be prompted to sign in before downloading apps.

2: Search for AthletesGoLive

Search for AthletesGoLive.

Select the app from the search results.

3: Install the App

Tap Install and wait for the download to complete.

4: Open the App

Launch the AthletesGoLive app.

The app may ask for permission to:

Allow Location Services
Enable Notifications

Choose your preferred settings.

5: Sign In or Create an Account

If you're a new user:

Select Sign Up
Create your AthletesGoLive account

If you already have an account:

Select Log In
Enter your existing AthletesGoLive credentials

Once signed in, your camera is ready to begin streaming.
