This guide is for scorekeepers, coaches, and team admins responsible for managing in-game lineups. You will learn how to substitute one player for another during a game, understand the roles a substitute player can fill, and know where substitutions are completed during gameplay. To complete these steps, the scorekeeper must have an account with team admin or assigned credentials, and a game must be actively in progress.
1: Select the Current Player
Click on the player who is currently on the field or up to bat.
2: Initiate the Substitution
Click the Sub button.
3: Choose the Replacement Player
Select the player you want to substitute into the game.
4: Confirm Success
The selected player will immediately take over the role in the lineup, field, or base running position.
